We are interested in creating a world where the good things in life are easily accessible and available to everyone regardless of postcode.
Clean air, water, public services like health, education, roads and infrastructure are something we expect governments to take care of on our behalf.
When we consider how we allocate and design health and social care services "for the public good" we are thinking of people in the community that we might have never met before, people in diverse communities and future generations. As citizens we have the right to be cared for, but also the responsibility to care for others.
When we organise a community or citizen jury we are thinking about this lens: "for the public good"- a worthy lens for public deliberation.
We can work with you with an evidence-base that ensures that you achieve the most important first step in your community partnerships: an understanding of what your community prioritises. This then enables you, the primary health organisation, to ensure that your investment goes into what the community, when well-informed, knows is needed. You become a partner with your community and make it happen.
